Strawberry, Cinnamon & Apple filled dumplings with creamy caramel sauce

It's getting colder here in UK, but I'm happy about it ! I love autumn <3
Because of all the lovely colours and the smell of coming winter...
For the past days I wanted to eat something not complicated, sweet, and polish :)
Why not to have dumplings then? Typical polish dish,especially during Christmas with cabbage and mushrooms. I opened my fridge and I saw a bowl full of red and huge strawberries my husband bought for me and that's how the idea of my sweet dumplings was born

They are so yummy and with the caramel sauce it's like heaven. Even my husband,who likes only fried dumplings ate them and loved it !
Let me share this easy recipe for you

For the dumplings dough:
* 3 cups plain flour( I'm always adding little more, while kneading)
* 1 cup of boiled almost hot water
* 1 tsp salt

1. Add flour to the bowl, salt, and water, stir it if it's very sticky add more flour
2.Transfer the dough into floured surface and knead until is soooo soft

For the filling
* 2 apples (grated)
* around 1 cup chopped strawberries
* sugar and cinnamon (optional)
1. Add a splash of water to your frying pan, and let the fruits fry for 6 minutes, then you can add some sugar and cinnamon.Once the mixture is juicy set a side.

For creamy caramel fudge sauce
* 0,5 cup of sugar
* 2 TBSP water
* 1 TBPS lemon juice
* cream

1.Add water, lemon juice and sugar into a pan, stir it and dont worry about the look of it !
2.Put your pan on the stove, and keep stiring until it's boiling and it melted. Once its melted leave it and don't stir it
3. Once the colour is golden brown it means your caramel is ready,BE CAREFUL IT GETS REALLY HOT.
4. Once caramel is done add cream into the pan and keep stiring it, mine looked like tea with milk
 I REMOVED THE READY SAUCE FROM THE FRYING PAN AND I FRIED THE FRUITS ON IT, IT GIVES A BETTER FLAVOUR

Now to complete dumplings

The dumpling dough will make around 40 dumplings, I used only half of the dough, another half is in the freezer :)
1. Roll the dough around 5mm thin, and cut rounds with a cup

2.Add 1 tsp of filling in the middle of your lovely, round dumpling and sismply close it, shape it if  you want

3. Boil a water in a big pan, add a splash of oil, a pinch of salt, and put your dumplings carefully
4.Once the dumplings will come on top of the surface boil them for 3 minutes,remove from water to a plate, pour your caramel sauce on top and enjoy with a cup of cold milk.
If you are feeling lazy with all the caramel thing just pour the cream over dumplings and sprinkle with some sugar !
